SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measurements, namely to measurements of insulation resistance of electrical networks of any kind of current. In the device for monitoring and measuring the insulation resistance, comprising a power source and an actuator, a leakage current converter, leakage current amplifier, a microwave generator, block simulating the resistance of a human body and a current meter unit are added, the source of the electrical network being connected to the input of the leakage current converter and the first arm of the block simulating the resistance of a human body, output of the leakage current converter through the leakage current amplifier is connected to the input of a microwave generator, output of which is connected to the input of the actuator, the output of the actuator is connected to the second arm of the block simulating the resistance of a human body, the third arm of the latter is connected to the input of the current meter unit.

EFFECT: technical result of disclosed technical solution is increased speed and functionality expansion.
