SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the pumping process, namely, the impeller design for a centrifugal pump used to feed both a fiber suspension and water to the headbox of a fibrous web manufacturing machine. Impeller (10) has disk (12), on front surface (20) of which there are plurality of long working blades (16) and plurality of shorter blades (18) disposed between blades (16). Impeller (10) has at least one of plurality of gas outlet holes (44) extending through disk (12) inside the circumference formed by the lower portions of input edges (30) of blades (18), and from a plurality of balancing holes passing through disc (12) inside the circumference formed by the lower portions of input edges (40) of long blades (16). Length of the lower part of short blade (18) is from 1.2 to 3.0 of the length of the leading edge of blade (18).
EFFECT: inventions are directed to the creation of an impeller and a pump with low pulsation or without pulsation, that are required in the manufacture of fibrous webs.
