FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Pneumatic tyre (1) has tread (2), direction (R) of rotation of tread (2) being specified. Crown main grooves (3) and shoulder main grooves (4) are provided in tread (2) to thereby define middle lands (5B). Each of middle lands (5B) is provided with middle lateral grooves (18) arranged separately from each other so as to define middle blocks (20). Each of middle blocks (20) is provided with: middle narrow groove (21) which extends from middle lateral groove (18) on the trailing landing side, in direction (R) of rotation, toward leading landing side and which terminates without reaching middle lateral groove (18) on the leading landing side; inner sipe (S2) disposed on the inside of middle narrow groove (21) in the axial direction of the tyre, and outer sipe (S3) disposed on the outside in the axial direction of the tyre. Width (W6a) of middle narrow grooves (21) and the direction of tilt of the inner and outer sipes (S2, S3) are limited to predetermined ranges.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of running characteristics on icy and snowy roads and stability of driving on dry road surface.
