SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of new smoking equipment, in particular to an atomizer for use in an electronic cigarette, wherein the electronic cigarette comprises the atomizer and a replaceable liquid storage device. Atomizer comprises a liquid storage device that is used to store liquid for electronic cigarettes and comprises an open end and a spray assembly that is connected with the possibility of an open end connector, wherein the spray assembly comprising a spray chamber and a spray unit disposed in the spray chamber, wherein the spray unit is used to spray the liquid for the electronic cigarettes to form an aerosol for inhalation, wherein the spray assembly comprises a connecting piece for connecting to the liquid storage device, a liquid inlet communicating with the spray chamber is provided on the connecting piece, at the open end, a seal comprising a liquid outlet is provided, and the connecting piece is suitable for inserting into the open end of the liquid storage device and then rotating to a predetermined angle so as to engage and connect to the liquid storage device; rotating part, which is rotatable together with the connecting piece, also provided at the open end, wherein the rotating part abuts against the seal; when rotating from an initial inserted position to an engagement position, the connecting piece can drive the rotating part, to connect the liquid outlet to the liquid inlet; when rotating back to its initial position, the connecting piece can drive the rotation part by rotating it so that the rotating part locks the liquid outlet.
EFFECT: creation of an inexpensive atomizer that can prevent the leakage of liquid for electronic cigarettes when the liquid storage device is disconnected.
