FIELD: electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-temperature electrochemical devices based on solid oxide elements (SOE) - elements with a solid electrolyte, more specifically to the design of the tubular SOE battery and the battery connection nodes (CN) of SOE. CN (variants) of a metal alloy are proposed, containing axially symmetric current collectors of adjacent SOE, formed by each set of wires arranged uniformly along the circle and along the common axis of symmetry of the node, connected by a current passage and executed so, which are closely aligned, one with an internal electrode of one coaxially mounted element, another with an external electrode of an adjacent co-axially mounted element. Design of the battery of SOE, which is a unified unit that contains tubular fuel cells with a thin layer electrolyte, for the connection of which the end current collectors and current collectors of joints of adjacent elements are made of wires, current leads and gas supply are made from one side of the battery in the form of a metal shank, consisting of coaxially arranged tubes, connected to the outer end of the gas-permeable insulating sleeve, the outer tube has, from the outer end, an end (terminal) in the form of a bell with a diameter larger than the diameter of the remaining components of the battery, and from the other end - an end wire current collector, connected electrically to the internal electrode of the first element, and the inner tube, passing along the entire length of the battery, has an external end of the terminal, and the other end, having a perforation for feeding one of the reagents into the inner cavity of the battery, is electrically connected to the current path of the other end wire current collector, connected electrically to the outer electrode of the last element.
EFFECT: technical result is the creation of a battery in which the tubular fuel assemblies are connected in series with current, providing improved mass and electrical characteristics, the processability of assembly of the battery itself, as well as a solid oxide device based on it, with the ability to service and replace the defective battery.
