FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: planar element of electrochemical devices with solid electrolyte arranged in the form of a thin flat disc from electrolyte - a single crystal (fianite) with thin flat electrodes, anode and cathode, which, being arranged between flat discs of a current conductor, are coaxially connected to the current conductor discs from high-chromium steel of large diametre, with holes along perimetre to supply and drain reagents, having thin coatings from anode and cathode material in central working area on opposite surfaces, are joined to each other by sides with identical material by a solid or a discrete shunt, formed from material of anode or cathode contactor, thus forming gas near-electrode channels, and along perimetre of disc from fianite and along perimetre of current conductor discs and holes for fuel and oxidising gases are connected via electric insulation sealant, thus forming tight anode and cathode cavities. Battery of planar elements includes a serial connection of alternating elements; current conductor, contactor, electrode, electrolyte, electrode, contactor, at the same time extreme plates of current conductors perform the role of "terminals" - shunts or current contacts of the battery. Elements are joined into a battery by a high-temperature thermal treatment under compression force of 1-10 kg at the temperature of 900-1050°C for 10-30 minutes, 2-3-multiple activation of electrodes is carried out, and the battery is installed in the power plant.

EFFECT: development of structure with tight packaging and improved heat recovery.
