SUBSTANCE: potato planting machine includes a platform for boxes with sprouted potatoes, seats for planters, hollow openers, coverers, a frame with an attached device and a planting device. Above planting device is made in the form of a transverse axis fixed to the frame with the possibility of rotation about a horizontal axis provided with support wheels and radial rays, at the free end of each of which a spoon is fixed. Wherein the rays are grouped in transverse planes relative to the axis, into groups in the form of multi-corner sprockets as per the number of openers, wherein each multi-corner sprocket is coaxial with one of the coulters. One part of the spoons is arranged inside the opener cavity, in the front part of which a curved guide is mounted with a gap increasing with respect to the spoons from top to bottom. Radius of curvature of the surface of the guide is reduced from the top to the bottom, and its horizontal edge has a horizontal step, oriented towards the spoons of the planting apparatus. Wherein the distance from the outer edge of the bottom of the spoon to the axis of rotation is 0.83 of the radius of the support wheel.

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to ensure the simultaneous sprouting of tubers by eliminating the instability of the spatial orientation of the tubers at the bottom of the furrow.
