FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: potato planter comprises frame with suspension device, platform for boxes and seats for planters. Frame is equipped with support wheels, and also has ploughshares with moulds, furrow-closing hoes and planting apparatuses. Wheels are rigidly fixed at the ends of their common axis, which is mounted on frame in bearings. Planting apparatuses are rigidly fixed on axle of wheels and represent radial beams with cups fixed at their ends in cantilever manner. Cups are arranged with curvilinear bottom and flanging at three sides and are oriented with their open side towards curvilinear mould. Mould is installed in ploughshare in front of planting apparatus. Radius of mould working surface curvature is increased top down. At the same time gap between outer edge of cup and mould also increases.

EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to reduce damage of tubers and to provide for seedling vigor and simultaneity of crops ripening.
