FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, in particular to a process for the preparation of alkyl polyglucoside, which is a non-ionic surfactant made from sunflower raw materials. A process for the production of alkyl polyglucoside from sunflower husks, consisting in the interaction of glucose or aqueous glucose syrup with aliphatic hydrocarbons of different chain lengths in the presence of an acid catalyst, which is a strong organic or inorganic acid, while glucose syrup or aqueous glucose syrup uses a glucose syrup obtained by grinding the sunflower husk to a particle size of 0.1–1.6 mm, treatment with a solution containing 20–30 % acetic acid solution, 2–5 % hydrogen peroxide solution and 1.5–2.0 % sulfuric acid solution at a temperature of 110–120 °C, hydromodule 5 for 2–3 hours, followed by hydrolysis with an 80 % solution of sulfuric acid at a temperature of 22–24 °C, hydronic module 3–5 for 1–2 hours, fatty acids containing C16-C18 atoms obtained in the production of vegetable oil are used as aliphatic hydrocarbons of different chain length.
EFFECT: increase the foaming properties of alkyl polyglucoside with milder dermatological characteristics.
