FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical processing of wood, and namely to the hydrolysis industry. Method of obtaining glucose from cellulose-containing waste involves breaking down the raw material to fractions with the particle size 0.1-1.6 mm, processing the raw material with a solution containing 20-30 wt % of acetic acid, 2-5 wt % hydrogen peroxide and 1.5-2.0 wt % of sulphuric acid, at a temperature of 110-120°C and hydro-modulus 5 for 2-3 hours. Then hydrolysis is carried out with concentrated sulphuric acid at room temperature at hydro-modulus 3-5 for 1-2 hours. Mass is diluted with water till hydro-modulus 80-100 and inversion is performed at a temperature of 90-100°C for 1-2 hours.
EFFECT: increase in glucose obtained in comparison to the known methods.
