FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular to devices for treating bird carcasses, and can be used to remove cut off legs of bird carcasses, including quail, from conveyor suspensions. In device comprising frame (4), drive (5), suspension fixing assembly in rails (28, 29) arranged on both sides of suspension, cam (6) in form of vertically arranged closed path (7), at least four operating elements in form of clamps (8), each of which consists of two parts (9, 16), the first (9) of which is mounted on two bearing supports (12, 13) on frame (4) and rotates on shaft (10) parallel to conveyor axis (1), and is equipped with bump stopper (14) with brush (15), and the second (9) is rotatably supported on axis (19) on two bearing supports (20) on the first (9) and equipped with roller (22) cooperating with cam (6). Second part (16) of clips (8) consists of several parts in form of brackets (17, 18) fixedly mounted on axis, each of which is provided with minor axis (23) carrying gripper (24) with plate (25) length L=t-B+d, where t - step of suspension 2 of conveyor 1, B - width of suspension brackets 2, d is diameter of rod from which suspension 2 is made. Gripper (24) is rotatably mounted with respect to bracket (17, 18) on minor axis (23) and fixed to bracket (17, 18) by means of spring (26).

EFFECT: increased durability and reliability of device is achieved.
