FIELD: mechanical engineering and food-processing industry, in particular, poultry processing equipment used in poultry processing lines.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame, vertically mounted shaft carrying drive sprocket and disk which are rigidly secured to shaft, and leg squeezing devices. Columns with pins are mounted on disk. Hanger retainers are mounted on pins for rocking thereon. Feeler is positioned on frame for controlling motion of hanger retainers. Such construction eliminates sliding friction between hangers. Only one immovable device of apparatus, namely, squeezing device is adapted for cooperation with bird's carcasses.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and reduced costs for maintenance procedures.
