FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an evaporation body of a heating device. Evaporation body (1) of the heating device for evaporating liquid fuel in the fuel-driven heating device is made of an absorbent porous material and has circumferential edge (2), with compression portion (3) extending along edge (2), on which the thickness of evaporation body (1) of the heating device is reduced by compression compared to central region (4) of evaporation body (1) of the heating device. Evaporation body has at least one layer of a metal fibrous mat, a metal fabric, a metal weave, a metal knitted fabric or metal knit fabric.
EFFECT: cost-effective manufacture, simplified installation of the evaporation body.
