SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an evaporation unit. Evaporation unit for mobile heating apparatuses, in particular, for a mechanical vehicle, comprises an evaporator (1), an evaporator body (2) configured to accommodate the evaporator (1), wherein the main element of the evaporator (1) is disk-shaped and/or plate-shaped, a glow plug (4) and a combustion chamber (6), wherein the glow plug (4) passes or is configured to pass into the combustion chamber (6), inclined relative to the main surface (11) of the evaporator (1), wherein at least one central protrusion (9) protrudes from the main surface (11) of the evaporator (1).
EFFECT: invention allows for an improvement in the characteristics of start and ignition of an evaporative burner operating with fuels boiling at very high temperatures.
