FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steels used as structural materials in shipbuilding, power engineering, and machine building. Steel contains 0.1–0.8 mass% of carbon, 0.001–0.9 mass% of silicon; 10.0–22.0 mass% of manganese; 1.5–4.5 mass% of aluminium; not more than 0.8 % by weight of chromium; not more than 0.8 mass% of nickel; not more than 0.8 mass% of copper; not more than 0.05 mass% of sulfur; not more than 0.05 mass% of phosphorus; not more than 0.015 mass% of nitrogen; one or more components from the group containing molybdenum in an amount of 0.0005–0.01 % by weight; vanadium – 0.0005–0.01 mass%; calcium – 0.0001–0.005 mass% and niobium – 0.0005–0.01 mass%; balance is iron and unavoidable impurities.
EFFECT: provides a hot technological plasticity, ease of machining, good weldability and the level of magnetic permeability (μ), stably not exceeding 1,01 G/E.
