SUBSTANCE: device belongs to agricultural machinery, namely to devices for monitoring the technical condition of the speed variator of the threshing drum of a combine harvester. Device for monitoring the technical condition of the speed variator of the threshing drum of a combine harvester includes a screw clamp, a rotary assembly, an adjustable pull rod, a support bracket, and a signal measurement and analysis unit with a photodetector. Two helium-neon laser beam sources and two metal mirrors are mounted on the carrier bracket. Carrier bracket is installed so that the movable and fixed variator disks are in the plane of sensitivity of the laser beams, and the signal measurement and analysis unit is configured to add up the light flux in the photodetector with subsequent amplification, scaling, matching to the amplitude-frequency value in the instrument measuring channel.
EFFECT: use of the present invention makes it possible to more accurately record the threshing drum rotation frequency.
