FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to the variators. The V-belt variator includes fixed and movable disks with coaxial hubs. A guide in the form of a key is installed between the disks. The movable disk with its hub is movable relative to the fixed disk with its hub along the axis of rotation, is spring-loaded relative to the fixed one and is provided with cams. Discs with hubs, spring, key, cams form a block of disks. There are two rolling bearings each in the fixed disk hub and in the drive pulley. The disk block and the drive pulley are designed to rotate synchronously on the stationary axis of the counter drive. The movable disk through the cams is in contact with the cam clutch from the composition of the drive pulley of the threshing drum.
EFFECT: increase in reliability is achieved.
