FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is an electromechanical device for controlling a mechanical lock in the form factor of a conventional lock cylinder, for example a Euro-cylinder, an American standard cylinder or a pad for a Deadbolt lock, comprising a movable handle body with an electronic key reader. At that, in the initial state the said handle is locked in the cylinder body, and in the unlocked state it exits from the lock case and can be used to control the lock mechanism. Feature of the device is the simplicity of design and extremely low power consumption of the key-lock system.
EFFECT: allows to create an energy-independent lock and use compact and inexpensive batteries for a self-powered key.
