FIELD: solar power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of solar power industry, in particular to the solar cells metal oxide photosensitizers. Photosensitizer is the 4-[(E)-[(2E)-3-[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]prop-2-en-1-ylidene]amino]benzoic acid. Photosensitizer is obtained by the one-stage synthesis at room temperature by the dimethylaminocinnamic aldehyde (DMAC) interaction with the 4-aminobenzoic acid equimolar amount in the anhydrous medium.
EFFECT: use of the claimed photosensitizer in the solar cell metal oxide structure allows to obtain the solar energy into electrical energy conversion efficiency values, close to the efficiency values obtained for solar cells based on of the known expensive standard ruthenium photosensitizer.
