SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil recovery. In an oil recovery method, comprising developing a reservoir of at least one pair of bore holes – an injection and production bore holes, heating of the productive formation by cyclic injection of the coolant and extraction of oil from the production bore hole, as a heat carrier, a steam produced from the liquid by a submersible centrifugal pump is installed in the injection bore hole is used, the pump being provided with a valve device for cyclical discharging of superheated steam into the bore hole for the purpose of wave action on the productive formation.
EFFECT: increase in energy efficiency of oil production and extraction ratio.
