FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermometry and is aimed at the investigation of various heat-shielding and erosion-resistant materials providing the protection of high-pressure pipelines operating on combustion products having the high temperature of 1,000 °C. Method for experimental determination of the non-uniformity of the temperature fields of a gas stream of a heat-insulated high-pressure pipeline and a device for its implementation are proposed. Method is based on measuring temperatures of the gas flow by means of thermocouples. Non-uniformity of the temperature fields is determined by simultaneous measurement of the temperatures at discrete points of the transverse and the longitudinal directions of the gas flow. Device consists of a thermally insulated pipeline, in which there are special thermocouples installed at different depths and in different cross sections of the pipeline.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of obtained results.
