SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry and medicine, in particular to dentistry, and is an anti-inflammatory agent for the prevention and treatment of periodontitis containing melatonin as the main active ingredient, characterized in that it is in the form of a rinse solution, which contains aqueous extracts of St. John's wort, Potentilla alba and Achillea millefolium with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect, sorbitol as a sweetener, sodium benzoate as a preservative, as well as distilled water, the components in the product are in a certain ratio, in wt%.
EFFECT: invention provides a shorter treatment duration for patients with inflammatory periodontal diseases due to pronounced anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant effects.
