SUBSTANCE: for ship torpedo defence, the torpedo is detected with the help of a hydroacoustic station and its coordinates and parameters of motion are determined. After the arrival of the ship at the calculated point, a series of depth bombs are dropped from the stern bomb-dropping device to the depth corresponding to the expected torpedo running depth.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of surface ship torpedo defence.
