FIELD: methods of active protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for active protection of a ship, a vessel and a coastal facility from enemy underwater and surface drones. To this end, an underwater obstacle in the form of an extended explosive charge is arranged on a possible path of the drone, with retention by active buoys and floats, made remotely controlled and autonomous, detecting enemy drone using hydroacoustic station of ship, vessel or coastal object, its coordinates and movement parameters are determined, the obstacle is brought into a combat position, the charge is remotely detonated and the drone is hit.

EFFECT: wider range of technical means of protecting surface ships and vessels at piers, at anchorage or lying in drift, and coastal objects from underwater and surface drones using active protection.
