FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to gastroenterology, and can be used in clinical practice to diagnose the activity of duodenal ulcer. To do this, the content of the pro-inflammatory cytokine TNF-α in the stomach portion of gastric juice. Patients on an empty stomach, before breakfast, no less than 12 hours after the last meal, without use of stimulants receive a portion of gastric juice using the sounding method for 15–20 minutes. Centrifuge resulting portion in a cold centrifuge for 20 minutes at 5,000 rpm, then take 0.2 ml of supernatant. By ELISA method determine the content of TNF-α in pg/ml and at a magnitude of 46.4 pg/ml and above, the presence of duodenal ulcer is determined.
EFFECT: proposed method for assessing the dynamics of the proinflammatory cytokine TNF-α in gastric juice it is possible to obtain a clinical evaluation of duodenal ulcer, establish a defect of the mucous duodenum, which is important for differential diagnosis with gastroduodenitis and for the timely administration of therapy.
