SUBSTANCE: invention relates to immunology, virology, biotechnology and laboratory diagnostics in medicine. Method for determining production of interferons as congenital immunity parameters, characterized by the use of a mammalian cell culture sensitive to IFN infected with VSV, differs in using a culture of green monkey (Vero) kidney tubule epithelial cells as a mammalian cell culture, quantifying the production of interferons of type I and II, based on an estimate of 50 % protection of a monolayer of serum-free line of green monkey (Vero) kidney tubule epithelial cells from cytodestructive effect induced by vesicular stomatitis test-virus (VSV); method comprises introducing individual samples into wells with an IFN-sensitive cell culture of Vero and subsequent treatment with a VSV test virus.

EFFECT: invention can be used to diagnose congenital immunity parameters and in various infectious diseases (viral, bacterial, fungal) and non-infectious (allergic, autoimmune, oncological) etiology.
