FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: robotic surgical station comprises a base configured to be fixed to the ground, a ring-shaped structure and a remote control. Patient bed and a plurality of robot arms are restrained to the ring-shaped structure at respective first and second mounts. Remote control unit may be used by a surgeon to carry out a surgical intervention on a patient. Ring-shaped structure is rotatable relative to the base about a horizontal roll axis configured to be parallel to the ground and passing through the centre of the ring-shaped structure. Robotic arms are moved in mechanical synchronization with the patient's bed. Said first and second mounts of the ring-shaped structure are arranged opposite to each other along a diameter thereof.
EFFECT: invention provides for maintaining their initial mutual positioning setup of the robotic arms in the patient's bed during the whole surgical intervention, and reduced risk of interruptions or disruptions of surgical procedures that might be dangerous for patients, because no need exists for wireless connections.
