FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical apparatus for extraction in liquid-liquid systems widely used in chemical and related industries. Multi-stage bubble extractor comprises a vertical shell divided by partitions into settling sections with mixing devices arranged therein in the form of two concentric nozzles – internal and external, gas distribution nozzles with holes, as well as flow tubes for heavy liquid. Additional even number of concentric nozzles is installed between the internal and external concentric nozzles of the mixing device. Each odd additional nozzle, starting from the innermost one, is attached to the overlying partition with a gap to the underlying partition, and each even additional nozzle – to the underlying partition with a gap to the overlying partition of the settling section.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the extraction process by increasing the contact time of light and heavy liquids without increasing the height of the settling section.
