FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a testing equipment, namely to the means of the geological, construction and low-modulus structural materials samples mechanical properties investigating as part of the laboratory test benches, and can be used for compression testing of various materials. Bench contains a base with posts fixed thereon, load crossbeam, dynamometer, bearing blocks through which a flexible rod is drawn, indicator with a measuring rod, motion screw and the motion screw rotation assembly consisting of a nut with handles and a bearing assembly fixed to the top of the posts. Motion screw lower part rests against a dynamometer mounted on an elastic element resting on the load crossbeam. Dynamometer, motion screw and the elastic element are mounted on one axis, the load crossbeam is supported on the test sample with one end and on the adjusting screws with the other end, and the test sample and adjusting screws are supported on the base. Measuring rod is supported by the load crossbeam at a point lying on the line of force applied to the test sample, at the flexible link one end weights are suspended, and the other end is fastened to the load crossbeam end, resting on the test sample.

EFFECT: technical result: increase in the bench reliability and durability, as well as increase in the accuracy of the conducted on the materials samples bench tests.
