FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of auxiliary means of radio electronic equipment and, additionally, can be used as a low-potential source of thermal energy. Device for absorbing dissipated electromagnetic radiation is stated, which contains means for supplying electromagnetic radiation and heat exchange equipment that provides the formation of a practical model of an absolutely black body. Heat exchange equipment includes a model of an absolutely black body, which is at least one spherical structure filled with a heat carrier, preferably a coolant whose inner surface is made of a radio absorbing material. Means of supplying electromagnetic radiation include a radio-transparent lens and an input branch of the model of an absolutely black body.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the amount of energy absorbed while maintaining the simplicity of the design.
