FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a robot for cleaning insulators. Robot contains a creeping mechanism, a cleaning device, locking mechanisms, a sensor and a controlled power supply. Crawl mechanism has a closed ring structure for covering the garland of insulators and is designed to bring the robot into continuous motion along the garland of insulators. Cleaning device has a closed ring structure for covering the garland of insulators. Locking mechanisms are evenly distributed on the creeping mechanism, which is connected to the cleaning device by means of said locking mechanisms. Sensor is located on one side of the locking mechanisms. Controllable power supply is mounted on a crawl mechanism. Crawler mechanism contains actuators located on the upper and lower levels, connecting devices and several guide rails evenly spaced along the circumference of the crawl mechanism. Each drive contains an engine, gear, drive drive mechanism and a mounting frame. Output shafts of the motors are connected to the transmission, which is a reducer.
EFFECT: simplicity and stability of the robot design, the ability to move continuously at a high speed, providing a simple method of high-speed cleaning with low abrasion wear of the insulation coating material, the possibility of using insulators for garments with different heights and diameters of disks, determining the characteristics of insulators.
