FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a radar technique and can be used in monopulse radars. Technical result is achieved using the phase manipulation of a signal coming from the difference output of a monopulse radar antenna, vector addition of this phase-manipulated signal using a 3 dB bridge with a signal coming from a total antenna output of the monopulse radar antenna, transfer of the resulting signals to an intermediate frequency, their amplification, synchronous detection, analog-to-digital conversion, coherent subclustered accumulation of the digitized values of the resulting signals, time-frequency transformation of the accumulated values of the resulting signals, calculation of monopulse ratios taking into account the phase relations of the signals in the generated frequency domain.
EFFECT: expansion of possibilities and an increase in the accuracy of monopulse direction finding.
