FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in monopulse radar for tracking targets and rockets. The radar includes a transceiving phased antenna array, monopulse feed, three-channel reception device, three analogue-to-digital converters, transmission device, signal generator and computer connected to each other in a defined way. The radar also includes an emitter whose input is connected to the signal generator, and the output to the monopulse feed. The output of the computer is the output of the monopulse radar. Specific implementation of the emitter is given in supplementary items.

EFFECT: monopulse radar increases stability of position finding sensitivity by calibrating amplification coefficients and phase characteristics of its reception channels.
