SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an arrangement for creating a wash zone intensified washing in washing chamber (11) of dishwasher (10), said arrangement comprising: spray arm (8) arranged to rotate around an axis A; water pump (19) arranged to feed water to spray arm (8); support element (18) arranged to rotatably supporting spray arm (8) in washing chamber (11), wherein said support element(18) is arranged to lock spray arm (8) in at least one position within washing chamber (11), when the pressure in the water fed from water pump (19) via support element (18) to spray arm (8) exceeds a predetermined level; and control unit (25) arranged to control the operation of water pump (19), wherein control unit (25) increases the pressure in the water fed from water pump (19) to spray arm (8), to lock spray arm (8) and thereby create said wash zone.
EFFECT: in addition, the invention relates to a dishwasher comprising said arrangement and to a method for controlling the dishwasher.
