FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an accelerating equipment for production of the accelerated beams of heavy particles: protons, negative hydrogen ions, atoms nuclei with the current at that level of 1–150 mA with the energy of 0.5–5 MeV or higher. Accelerator includes the primary particles source for acceleration, accelerating path, high-voltage power system, vacuum system, and the other traditional for accelerator equipment components. Accelerating path is divided into sections with independent high-voltage power supply, and between the sections elements are placed, which ensure the secondary particles (electrons and ions) separation by means of strong magnetic field, secondary particles safe utilization, the vacuum level control and, if necessary, the accelerated beam focusing.
EFFECT: technical result is the secondary particles spatial distribution and maximum energy restriction, positive feedbacks between secondary processes in the accelerator channel effect suppression.
