SUBSTANCE: accelerator-tandem with vacuum isolation refers to the physics and technology of accelerators and can be used to produce beams of charged particles for ion implantation, neutron capture therapy for cancer or for the detection of explosive and narcotic substances. High-voltage power source is rotated by 180° (turned over), inside the gas part of the bushing is inserted, the high-voltage and intermediate electrodes of the accelerator are connected directly to the corresponding sections of the high-voltage power source, there is no need to use a bushing with an ohmic divider.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the compactness and reliability of the accelerator.
