SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used in the electric power industry. Switching control method and the switching control device include the following steps: detecting whether the transient interference in the DC transmission system satisfies interference criterion condition (101); if the transient interference satisfies the interference criterion condition, the maximum pulse delay angle used in the switching operation performed by the current converter on the inverter side of the DC transmission system is determined, the determined maximum pulse delay angle is smaller than the maximum pulse delay angle used before transient interference (102); and controlling the current converter on the inverter side for the DC transmission system to perform the switching operation, depending on determined maximum pulse delay angle (103). Through this method and device, the corresponding maximum pulse delay angle can be determined depending on the degree of transient interference in a DC transmission system, thereby providing a switching margin and avoiding switching disruption when a large transient interference occurs.
EFFECT: eliminating the switching failure and ensuring the stability of the DC transmission in the presence of transient interference.
