SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and concerns the treatment and prevention of pulp inflammatory changes. To implement the proposed method of the treatment and prevention of pulp inflammatory changes with preservation of vitality during prosthetics with non-removable dental protheses, an ecdysteroid-containing composition of the following composition, wt %, is used: field chickweed – 3, calendula flowers – 1, willow weed leaf – 1 and poplar buds – 1, in the form of 40 % tincture (1:5), obtained by percolation. Said composition is included in the temporary cement prior to the preparation of the paste, which is applied to the prepared hard tissues of the tooth, treated with a 3 % solution of sodium hypochlorite under a provisional crown and after obtaining a stable effect within 2–3 weeks, the dental crown restoration is carried out.

EFFECT: use of the method of the treatment and prevention of pulp inflammatory changes with the preservation of vitality during prosthetics with non-removable dental protheses using the above composition provides a powerful reparative, capillary-strengthening, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and bactericidal action with the preservation of said effects for a long time.
