FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio communication systems to improve the accuracy of measuring the spacecraft speed (SS). This result is achieved by using more than one harmonic component to measure the Doppler frequency FDi for each i-th harmonic, 0 ≤ i ≤ |n|, with subsequent averaging of particular measurements results. Index 0 corresponds to the first, main/central, harmonic.
EFFECT: achieved technical result is higher accuracy of measuring the spacecraft speed by reducing the random component of the Doppler frequency measurement.
