FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Improved heat engine includes an organic refrigerant having a boiling point below -35°C; heat source having a temperature of less than 82°C; heat sink; sealed, closed-loop for the organic refrigerant. Closed-loop has both a high-pressure zone which absorbs heat from the heat source, and a low-pressure zone which transfers heat to the heat sink. Positive displacement decompressor provides a pressure gradient through which the organic refrigerant in its gaseous phase flows continuously from the high-pressure zone to the low-pressure zone, wherein the decompressor extracts mechanical energy from the pressure gradient. Positive displacement hydraulic pump provides continuous flow of the organic refrigrerant in its liquid phase from said low-pressure zone to said high-pressure zone. Wherein said hydraulic pump and said decompressor maintain a pressure differential between the two zones of between about 20-42 bar (about 20×105-42×105 Pa).
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of heat engine.
