FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and heat engineering and can be used in development or modernization of gas pumping units with gas turbine plants. In compliance with this fuel gas heating method, additional fuel gas heating and complete power supply of gas compressor unit are provided. For this purpose, an apparatus consisting of an organic Rankine cycle (OCR) is connected to an exhaust system of a gas turbine engine of a gas pumping unit. Heat-exchanger-economizer of the OCR unit is three-flow. Fuel gas flow is extracted from main gas line, filtered and directed for heating to unit with gas-oil heat exchangers for fuel gas preparation, where in turn: heating the fuel gas flow in the first gas-oil heat exchanger with hot oil taken from the pump compressor unit, reducing in the expander, is heated in the second gas-oil heat exchanger with hot oil extracted from the gas-turbine engine of the gas transfer unit, and heated in the OCR heat exchanger-economizer with hot organic heat carrier. Completing heating of fuel gas flow, it is directed to gas turbine engine fuel system of gas transfer unit. Electric connection is established with generator of expander and with turbine of OCR and directing electric energy to power supply of gas transfer unit, wherein the amount of electric power generated is controlled by changing the surface area of heat exchange surfaces of the heat exchanger-evaporator OCR.

EFFECT: invention increases energy efficiency of compressed natural gas production processes.
