FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling a thrust reverser comprising a plurality of elements in which when it is detected that one of said elements has not been activated after a predetermined activation period, an error message related to the malfunction of the thrust reverser is generated, and, despite the generation of said error message, the activation of the element is continued and if the element is finally activated before a maximum predetermined period for deploying the thrust reverser has elapsed, the deployment of said thrust reverser is continued, and the error message related to the malfunction of the thrust reverser is withdrawn.
EFFECT: proposing a new method for controlling a turbine engine thrust reversers to deployment and use of a thrust reverser even after the occurrence of a first error message relative to a malfunction of the thrust reverser.
