FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials containing carbon nanotubes in their composition and can be used in various industries, mainly in electrical engineering, for example in lithium-ion batteries, or in electrical cables of coaxial type, where the weight of the cable is important. Paper from carbon nanotubes contains single-walled carbon nanotubes and a binding additive. Metal coating is deposited on one side of the paper by depositing the metal in such a way that the surface density of the metal coating is at least 0.9 g/m2.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a composite material based on carbon nanotubes paper having electrical conductivity comparable to the electrical conductivity of metals, a small specific gravity, and increased mechanical properties.
