FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the gas-phase (co)polymerization of ethylene with alpha-olefins CH2=CHR. Method comprises polymerizing a gas mixture comprising ethylene, hydrogen, an inert fluidizing gas and, optionally, one or more alpha-olefins in the presence of a catalyst system. Catalyst system comprises a solid catalyst component comprising a titanium compound on a magnesium dichloride carrier and an alkyl aluminum compound. Halogenated alcohol is additionally introduced into the polymerization mix.
EFFECT: lower formation of ethane volume fraction per PE unit simultaneously with an increase in the polymerization activity.
