SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to beekeeping, and can be used for the processing of hives with bee colonies. Method for the prevention of bacterial diseases of bees in conditions of temperate continental climate includes feeding in beehives with bees an ozone-air mixture in a gaseous state for 30 minutes. Ozone-air mixture with an ozone concentration of 70–100 mg/m3, which is fed after the bees have been wintering to the lower part of the hive by ascending streams in the air at an ambient temperature of at least 20 °C.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the effectiveness of treatment of bacterial diseases of bees.
