SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction technology and can be used for electric heating of concrete or other building mix. Method of protecting the electrodes during the electrical heating of the concrete mixture by installing into the existing current-carrying devices a housing made of electrically insulating and metal plates of phase electrodes, according to which the electrodes are lowered into the hopper with a concrete mixture for the duration of the electric heating process and fixed in the hopper body, but not fixed. At the same time, electrodes penetrate tightly into grooves of the electrical insulating plates along the vertical and lower faces of the phase electrodes. Width of electrical insulating plates perpendicular to the plane of the phase electrodes is from 100 to 200 mm. Vertical side electrical insulating plates are made of a solid dielectric, and the lower horizontal is made of a flat flexible dielectric.

EFFECT: increase of reliability of work and increase in service life of phase electrodes.
