FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: dragging system for the vehicle radiographic inspection system comprises the first and second dragging means arranged in series. Between the first and second means of dragging a dividing section is located. Each drag means includes a base plate, an elongated pulling member and a pushing member for pushing the wheels of a vehicle along the base plate, connected to the elongated pulling member. Said system includes a controller for controlling the first pushing member for pushing the first wheel at a first speed. Above controller is configured to actuate the second elongated pulling member to move it, when the second wheel reaches a predetermined location on the second dragging means, so that the second pushing member from the lower side of the second support plate moves at a second speed to contact the second wheel and push the second wheel. In the direction of dragging, the second wheel is located downstream of the first wheel. Also, the second speed is greater than or equal to the first speed. And the second speed and the first speed are essentially constant. Before the first pushing member is separated from the first wheel, the second pushing member comes into contact with the second wheel.
EFFECT: reduced impact of equipment for dragging vehicles onto the scanned image.
