FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to towing device of large-size objects checking system with automatic radiation scanning designed for checking large sized or low-load-carrying capacity cargo vehicles in ports and vehicles distribution station. Truck-mover contains body with tilted part on rear end of its upper surface and mounting cavities adapted to lower parts of front wheels of vehicle under checking, great number of pairs of guide wheels installed on lower surface of truck-mover body for holding on rail and moving along rails, connecting tie-rods located on front and rear ends of lower surface of truck-mover body and used for connection with wire ropes of winches, respectively, fastening hooks arranged on front and rear ends of lower surface of truck-mover body and used for engagement with wedge anchors fitted in ground and holding devices arranged on front and rear sides of mounting cavities and used for holding front wheels of vehicle in mounting cavities when truck-mover is running. According to invention, when truck-mover operates, it pulls vehicle of objects to be checked along check corridor, with front wheels of vehicle being held in mounting cavities of truck-mover, while its rear wheels roll along ground.

EFFECT: reduced area of site required for construction of objects and cost of checking system.
