FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of infectious diseases, and can be used to vaccinate immuno-compromised subjects against influenza. Use of the invention includes the intranasal administration of a vaccine comprising a composition comprising one or more non-living influenza virus antigens selected from the group consisting of an antigen of a whole inactivated virus, a split virus, a subunit antigen of the influenza virus and recombinant antigens, and an adjuvant comprising one or more carboxylic acids, an aqueous medium and one or more monoglycerides.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to reduce the release and the spread of the virus by decreasing the virus titer and inducing a high immune response.
