DUAL-MODE SEEKER HEAD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F41G7/22 F42B15/01

Abstract RU 2661504 C1

FIELD: rocket technics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to missiles of different purposes and, in particular, to counterair missiles – the main use, anti-aircraft and anti-tank. Dual-mode homing head contains an anti-radar unit with a radiation receiver – an antenna, an infrared part and a steering control system. At the same time, the antenna of the anti-radar part provides the possibility of outputting the received level of the radio signal to the operator's starting device or to an automatic trigger device and to disable reception of a radio emission signal before starting. Antenna is made in the form of sideways vibrators, that act as aerodynamic destabilizers and do not interfere with the operation of the infrared part of the rocket.

EFFECT: increase the probability of enemy destruction – aircraft and the expansion of the arsenal of technical means.
